Asociación de Abogados de Empresa para Centroamérica (AAEC) is the founding organization for in-house lawyers related to Central America. As an organization AAEC strives to understand, unite, and strengthen the in-house legal sector in the region by identifying relevant issues and seeking knowledge about them. The AAEC was conceived on the belief that in-house lawyers have the power and responsibility to create better corporate citizens. We believe that by holding ourselves, and the companies we work for, to the highest ethical and legal standards we can create a world where our communities are continually benefited by the presence of its corporate citizens. In this way, we aim to change the reality, and importantly, the international perception of rule of law in Central America.
