Did the dugong trip on 1st of February and saw Aban the dugong. But you have to know that it's full day tour, 2h boat for 1 way and waiting time there. Dugong are now protected with strict rules which is good (no more than 4 divers at at time in the water,..) but the Dugong center should find a way (with numbers) to avoid waiting for the previous boat to have done diving and instead go dive somewhere else who waiting. Staff of the dive center very friendly and helpful, wish to stay longer to explore other dive trip. Most of the activities are on day trip. They have an amazing house reef!

Dirk and his team are great! Once you're able to connect everything can be arranged. Dirk provides experienced qualified instructors, divemasters and boatmen. Shout out to Brian for a blast on the boats. They provide transportation free to guests staying in the bay area and not at El Rio Y Mar, just be prepared to wake up a little bit earlier. Amazing time with the wrecks an dugongs. Dugongs are not guaranteed but if you catch Abat he is a charmer.

Total rip off. I dived everywhere in the philippines and in asia and this is by far the most expensive dive school! A dive trip to Calauit is 9000 PHP with two dives! Thats 180 USD. What????? 1500 per dive 1500 for equipment 3500 for the boat 1000 entrance fee. I dived in Coron Town with a 1,5 h boat ride for only 3500 php.

Choose another centre in coron for the dugong dive! I did the sea cow (dugong) snorkeling with them. The snorkeling itself is very good. You get to see the dugong from above as well as when it surfaces for air. The diving centre itself though, shamelessly overcharges for its services. They offer nothing more than others and they don’t offer lunch (you have to bring your own). Additionally, we joined a group of 6 people, 2 of which were diving on that day, 4 not. Although the diving centre told us the divers will do 2 dives, they did 3 thus we had to wait in the boat for 2:30 hours doing nothing (surface time plus dive). I would definitely not recommend them. There are other centers in coron that do dugong dives. The reason we picked them was because we were staying in el rio y mar and got a bit stuck.

Dugong watching was awesome. Friendly staff. Expensive diving, read the price list carefully before booking. No pro discounts. My diving worked out twice the price per dive of all the other diving I have done in Asia (over 400 dives).

This is more of a Resort than an actual diving center. You pay a huge premium for this reason. They are part of the El Rio y Mar resort, in fact you even pay at the resort's counter. There's nothing about this business that justifies the massive price increase compared to anything else in Coron, they do have a really nice diving boat, but the service offered is even inferior to competitors, equipment is the poorest I had since I started diving. Also in my opinion they hugely inflate the numbers when they tell you the chances of dugong sightings, given other reviews and speaking to people it seems the chances to actually get to snorkel or dive with them are very dire. In fact it's even hard to find proof online (videos etc) of sightings. You still get to do 3 dives even if there are no dugongs, you can see some interesting stuff but for Coron I believe it to be average. If you're staying at the El Rio y Mar resort, which seems a nice place, you should dive here, but otherwise it's really not worth the hassle of getting there from Coron given the huge cost of diving with them, you better try out diving with other centres and go to see Dugongs somewhere else altogether.
