I really appreciate the thorough quality work Alan and his team do at GIC. I had brought my car in for a power steering issue but wanted to know what other issue may come up since the car was over 15 years old. Upon a full analysis they found other potential issues and we worked on a repair plan that would get the best value to keep the car running strong for many years to come. It’s great that Alan approached the problem in a very methodical way to replace parts when everything was disassembled so we wouldn’t need to get back in there at a later point when it would fail. I also appreciated that he liked to keep me very informed about the whole process and showed me exactly what he was seeing during the analysis. Unfortunately I had a faulty serpentine belt that was replaced. Fortunately they stand by their work though and covered the replacement. Helen was very thorough with following up with me and made sure that I was taken care of at all times. All round a good quality and honest shop.

Took our 1957 Chevy Cameo Corvette Truck in to have the AC charged. The person who answered the phone and made the appointment was happy and very professional. The mechanic who is also one of the owners did an excellent job. There were issues with the system because it was a custom install and had some electrical issues but the mechanic bypassed the problem and charged the AC anyway. Couldn't have been more pleased with the attitude, service and the price! ParisBradley dot US
Took my Chevy Venture 2002 in for engine light diagnosis. They were all very friendly and courteous and covid cautious. I was looking for a shop that was knowledgeable of older American cars and I finally found them. Dan kept me undated several times on parts, costs, and completion date. They returned my old parts without asking them to do so which I appreciated. The costs were very reasonable and was completed in 2 days. They also squeezed me in on a separate occasion to fix my windshield wipers that didn't work while I waited. Dan and the mechanics were wonderful to deal with and I absolutely recommend them.

I was looking for a good, honest shop that also cared about COVID safety, which is how I found GIC. Dan, service advisor, was quickly able to fit me in. He was friendly, knowledgeable and the technicians were able to change my oil as promised. When I picked up my car I met the owner Helen and later spoke with her husband Alan. I found them to be genuinely kind people that clearly care about their clients/business. On top of all of this, Dan gave me great advise and told me to go to the dealership for my leaking battery issue, saying it should be under warranty. Sure enough it was and I got it all fixed for free. This team truly knows how to go above and beyond. Thank you GIC!
