Rick rebuilt my rear end. Called him today to do some transmission work and he sadly told me after 40 years he decided to hang his hat up for good and retire. He is no longer in the business.

I had my 2000 corvette transmission rebuilt by Gear Works in San Lorenzo Ca. because my automatic transmission was slipping in the 1st to 2nd gear. I am a 100% satisfied customer of Rick and his Gear Works shop. After the transmission was rebuilt it had a very hard shift during 1st to 2nd but the slipping was gone. I took the car back to Rick the shop owner. When I arrived he had the Pressure Solenoid and complete transmission wiring harness at no cost. The transmission ran perfectly smooth after. The Pressure Silenoid and complete transmission wiring harness does not normally get replace at rebuild. Rick went the extra distance to ensure I was completely satisfied with his service and I was.
