Came back after a while since my mom was craving it and they were open for takeout and delivery! As usual the staff is friendly and we ordered ahead so our food was ready when we arrived. My mom and I also decided to order the fried calamari as well, which was pretty good since the pieces were huge, but not as crunchy as I hoped. Since they're doing takeout, the rice and meat is already cooked together with the sauce so it's like a fried rice. Either way it still really good! Overall, it was a good experience like usual whenever I come! Remember to support local businesses!!

Very cute restaurant with a super fast service. Come here on a Saturday lunchtime and got seated right away. The owner is very nice, we ordered the honey walnut shrimp, popcorn chicken, crab cheese Rangoon, Curry beef rice, Beef rice, seafood rice, and I will say their appetizer taste much better than the entrees. The waiter caramel Sue four times to add water for us. super friendly
88 Chinese is now Tao's fresh. Changed menu from all Chinese to burning beef plate and some Chinese food. Renovated location with new chairs and tables. The best thing about the change: they keep the old menu for loyal customers. The owners remember you too.
Tao's Fresh is yet another specialized Chinese restaurant in the East Bay taking over 88 Chinese and focusing on sizzling beef plates. Had the sizzling beef with curry rice and an egg. Good price point and value, highly recommended. Chinese fajitas for the win!
Great food and great prices
The food here is pretty good. I come here to get my boba tea but I do have to admit the tapioca pearls are just a little bit hard so i do definitely recommend the owners to cook the tapioca pearls for just a couple minutes so that they are just perfect. Other than that the milk tea that they make is very good, and I recommend the Brown Sugar Boba it is perfect for someone who likes their milk tea sweeter and not so strongly caffeinated. I came here also for food once and the fried chicken and fries were DELICIOUS!! Definitely consider coming here!! This edit is from a month later, they started to cook the tapioca pearls more and they are perfect now! Definitely consider supporting this business it is just great!
