Mission: Whether an athlete is in high school and looking to embark on a career in sports, a collegiate athlete looking for help finding the right job after college, or a professional athlete looking to transition out of his/her sports career- The Path to You Coaching looks at who athletes are without the “athlete identity” - discovering what is meaningful to them and transfer their skills and experience outside their current role in sports. Vision: By working with athletes in high school, we can start to lay the foundation of their personal brands and what that means to them throughout their careers, athlete or not. Through workshops, we can plant the seed of discovering one's "truth"​ or identity & purpose outside of athlete, and how to develop that brand moving forward. Through coaching, we look to lower rates of depression and increase feelings of self-empowerment during these transitional phases for athletes. Athletes should not have to go through periods of “who am I without the title ‘athlete’?” The beauty behind being an athlete? You’ll always be an athlete even if it is no longer your career. The traits you carry, the skills you’ve learned, the experience you’ve attained comes from your athletic background. While your title may no longer read “athlete,” it is a part of who you are, but it is not your identity. Through The Path to You Coaching, we help you remove the layers of family history and external expectations and look deep within you to see who you are, what your purpose is, and to smoothly integrate & enjoy life after sports.
