Diverse like heaven would be! That itself speaks to how invaluable Agape is, especially since San Luis Obispo is far from being diverse. Beyond diversity, exceptionally great worship! Exceptional message that sticks to your heart all week and overall friendly/welcoming people. I’m so grateful I found Agape!!!

Agape is an empowering, encouraging, and loving church. The most beautiful thing I've seen is the care and concern Agape has for other churches at prayer meetings. They care for the community as well. For example, they hosted an outdoor family movie night a couple months ago when families desperately needed some time to safely gather and connect. Many families who had no previous connection to the church came out and simply enjoyed some community time. Another memorable event was an art-auction fundraiser to help those in the community with mental challenges; the sale of the artwork helped area artists and the community! The powerful messages, the engaging worship, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit are very apparent at Agape and the church provides a safe space for people to encounter God without making one feel pressured to act a certain way. Agape is quite amazing.
Love the balance of Word and Truth. Very authentic, welcoming community. I think its one of the most diverse churches in the area.
Not sure about worshipping Jesus in the darkness, he is light?? , Isn't the call for salvation the climax of the Gospel? Where did they get there model for service, try doing things according to scripture and you will see the power of God, not a sprinkle but an Outpouring of the Holy Spirit!!!!!

I have been going here since a child, I’ve tried different churches but always come back to Agape as my home church. It’s warm, loving, welcoming, and always has a great message. You can feel the Lords presence and the worship is unforgettable.
What a great family of passionate Jesus-lovers! We were greeted by friendly people and connected immediately on our first few visits. Even though we have rooted down in another church family, we highly recommend Agape to anyone who is seeking a local spiritual family who knows how to love.
