We started renting last month, paying 40/month. They don't have an online portal, but offer auto-pay. Initial install was pricey (900) because of how our house was set up. You may or may not end up with a big install bill. The install takes a good 6-8 hours. Happy with the equipment, install, and service. Big shout out to our sales rep, Jason, who was patient with all my questions. He was friendly, professional, efficient, responsive, and respectful about wearing a mask while in our home. One piece of feedback is sales reps should wear proper masks (surgical or cloth, or double masking since CDC guidance has changed), instead of the pull-up neck covering things (not sure what they are called). Those have been proven to be less effective that a regular mask. A few weeks after the install, Jason followed up with a phone call to make sure we we had everything we needed. If you're considering a water softener, it is 100% worth it. We immediately noticed a big difference with showering and laundry. 10/10, highly recommend!

My wife and I have never had a water softener system in any of the 10 homes we've owned over the years. However, we thought since the water is so hard in San Marcos area we might as well try a water softener system in our new home. I researched the various companies in the area and Culligan Water caught my eye as the best. We reached out to Jason Hamilton, Customer Service Representative, and we were not disappointed. He took his time detailing all the benefits of a water softening system, and after using they system for several months we are thrilled. The water is definitely soft and there is no scale buildup anywhere. Culligan services your system every eight weeks or so, so you have no worries. I would highly recommend using Culligan Water to anyone!

Never never again!! I have written very few reviews but I feel compelled to let folks know about my experience. Had a Culligan water system in the house that I bought nine years ago. I’ve had Culligan out several times to service their equipment. Everything has always been great and I love the reverse osmosis system. Well during the pandemic it’s sprung a leak and I could not get a hold of Culligan ,I had someone just remove it and put in another water filter which I hated. As soon as Culligan re-opened I had them come out and reinstall the system . During the reinstallation the technician explained to me that they had brought the wrong filters and that they would have to return tomorrow to put the correct filters in. No problem, I asked if it was OK to go ahead and drink the water and he said sure ,that it would be fine. The technician explained that I would have to pay today,but there would not be any charge upon the return due to it being their mistake on bringing the wrong filters. Well, much to my surprise there was a charge,almost as much is the original charge to reinstall the system!!! The explanation I was given did not make any sense at all,even after speaking with the manager no one was able to properly explain why the charge was so high. Part of the charge as it was explained to me was to sanitize the system,why did they have to sanitize the system? Was it really OK for me to drink the water as the previous tech said.? The manager explained he was not responsible for what the technician told me, if he isn’t who is? I have run a successful small business for 21 years and I know customer service is really important, and having faith in a company is really important. Culligan San Marcos has totally lost my faith and my business..

I've had my water softener in for 2 weeks now and it has made a night and day difference already! Culligan is a great company to work with as they are efficient, honest, and have great products. The two technicians that came out to install it, Jojo and Chris, were very professional and polite and went over and above to make sure everything was in working order even when my older houses electrical and plumbing lines were acting up. I would recommend Jojo and Chris to anyone who needed work done!

Excellent service - always. During our service call to our home, Dan took good care of us and addressed any issues. This was a maintenance call. He went above and beyond with solutions, our questions & any concerns. He also followed all covid precautions.
