BEWARE!!!! I am reviewing the self sufficiency program. If you are a dirty sloppy person, who is irresponsible to do house chores, this is the program for you!!!! You will sign a lease contract and a living together agreement amongst your roommates, you will be expected to follow the rules, but I’ve been in a situation for 6 months with a dirty sloppy b who does not clean up after herself, leave doors unlocked allllll the time, leave molded food everywhere, my son’s health isn’t an importance to the director or her supervisor, even though he had an asthma attack during these mold issues, brings guests unannounced, does not do roommate rotated chores, have guests passed time or snuck in, this b will continue to live with you and because she is allowed to break the rules!!! If you are fine with all that then go for it!!!! If you are offered the Hilton street in Redwood City site Runnnnnn!!!! Or You are in for a treat!!!!!!! You get this perfectly disgusting roommate who leaves toys everywhere and you get to eat on a dirty table eat on, or be her maid!!!! You or the other family member don’t matter, only she does!!! Thanks hip housing for not enforcing your own rules!!!! I’m outta here my kids lives and security matter over this I’d rather be in an immaculate home!!!

Make sure when you are applying for HIP Services that the caseworker gives YOU the 411 on the elderly room mate and how many tenants that elderly has had with a 6th or 12th month. For your safety HIP does not and will not disclose if the person has mental or medical issue until its too late.
