This historic site is a frequent destination for strollers who find their way along the many narrow pathways in SMA..this square and the laundries were built in the 18th century and was a significant location for washing of clothes..it is located near Juárez Park and frequently there are artists painting and selling their artwork..it is built right next to one of the most winding streets in SMA (( Calle Chorro ))..this is a very shady and restful place with visually stunning vistas..another strolling option from this site would be wandering along Canadians de los Aguacates street to this winding trail-like pathway leading into further scenic and photo opportunities in the many streets intersecting with this Street...

One of my favorite parks in San Miguel. Quiet and somewhat secluded. Check out the concrete \laundry tubs\ when you are there.
Great outdoor venue for music, or just a quiet stroll.
The history and just knowing that this is an area where local continue to wash their clothes by hand..
A few years ago I had seen people using these wash tubs.
