Went here last summer (august) to learn how to surf. We didn't have any experience, but they were very patient with us and together we made it a salty ride! Small groups made it possible to get personal help and feedback in the water and out. Every lessons started with a bit of theory, to increase knowledge about the water and what you need to know when you go surfing by yourself. We took the morning classes (5x), because the beach was more quiet. (and spectacular views as you can see on the photo) Their English was super! Thanks!

Very good surf school, with different teachers. One of them is Dutch which is convenient for those who speak Dutch. First half hour of theory and then surfing with a small group. Me and my boyfriend had taken 5 surfing classes in Portugal but this felt more educational.

We took classes here last year (08-‘19). Instructor was very qualified, friendly and besides Spanish and English (fortunately for us) also Dutch speaking. Shop staff was also very flexible, chill and kind! The lessons contained a bit of theory before heading out into the water. Groups were small, so we got a lot of individual attention and feedback in the water. We would certainly go here again!

In love with Cantabria and in love with the bay they teach at! Waves for all levels of experience and incredibly insightful instructors. Took a 5 lesson package and managed to surf green waves at the end! Highly recommend this school! Tnx guys!

Great surf school, can definitely recommend! Good lessons, good equipment, fair prices and a really nice and warm atmosphere overall. The staff and instructors were really friendly and spoke good English. They Explained things well, were patient and made sure we learned the right technique. Besides the actual surfing they took the time before each lesson to explain a little bit about how waves are formed, how currents work and the general rules of surfing, which was really nice and helpful. Meron beach in general is a great place to learn to surf. We went at the end of September/beginning of October. Waves were perfect for beginners (not to big, not to small), water temperature was still nice and because it was after the holiday season it wasn’t too crowded. So in short: We had a great time at Meron Surf School and can definitely recommend!
