I stayed for a month at Riverview RV Park in Sand Springs. I was very pleased with my lot and the owners and staff were very kind and helpful. During the 4th of July celebration, we all got together at the park's gazebo and had hot dogs and other picnic foods. Then we got an awesome view of the fireworks that were launched on the other side of the Arkansas River from us. The park was clean as were the restrooms and laundry. I felt very safe and I felt that my RV was secure there. The owners and staff watch over the park carefully and they also have security cameras mounted around the park. The prices were quite reasonable and the views were really nice. I even enjoyed the sounds of the trains as they passed down by the river. They gave me pleasant memories of my childhood. I will definitely be visiting Riverview RV Park again when I pass that way.
Stayed here for a few days. Place is ran by super nice couple. Park was jam packed, I guess there are welding schools or something there so it was full of 1month stays. Nice neighbors while I stayed. WiFi was GREAT and good enough for streaming. (this is important to an IT guy working on the road) Negatives: There is no river view from the park regardless of the name haha There were trains a few times throughout the night, but never really bothered me.
Nice park to stop for a short visit. The highlight was the dog park, which has been one of the nicer dog parks we've encountered on our journey west from Florida. It was well maintained and actually had grass, not just patches with mostly dirt. The landscaping throughout the park was lovely, however it would have been nice to have shade trees for the RVs. I believe most of the people staying here were staying long term, as we didn't see many people coming and going. The people were mostly quiet and friendly. There is a train track in the area so expect to hear a train throughout the day and night, giving its warning whistle. I would stay here again if driving through.
Only drove through so this is an at a glance opinion. RV's were crammed in, most looked very old and run down, the people I saw looked like they could be meth cooks except one very old codger that when waved at just looks at you like, \go jump off a cliff\. Place was small and run down and the only river view was half a row of campers. I definitely would not stay there.
