We recently relocated to Sand Springs and started with a different day care first. We had a horrible experience and quickly switched to Sandite. Best decision we have ever made concerning the care of our child. He is in the infant room (0-12 month) and they are amazing with him. They work with his development and he genuinely lights up when he sees his teachers. All of the teachers make an effort to know him (even ones that are in other classrooms). They just know what they are doing here, I truly trust them. After one week, we saw a tremendous difference in his attitude and happiness. I'm grateful we found this place!

I once was a kid who went here for 5 years and I loved it and still wish I could still attend there. The memories i've made there I cherish everyday
My daughter attended scdc for a while. During that time I had several issues. The most recent issues were my daughter was yelled at by one of their teenage workers. They started employing non trained teenagers who will not introduce themselves or make sure you are the one who is allowed to pick up your child. I went to the director with this issue. She refused to take my calls. I had to corner her at the facility. She refused to investigate, refused to let me see the surveillance, and refused to switch my daughter teachers. She thought it was funny and called my daughter a liar. Right before this I came to pick up my daughter and they had her outside in the cold without her hat or coat. I asked the teacher why. Teacher said another child accused mine of swinging her hat. I asked if she saw this and she said no. That child said she was kidding right in front of me and my daughter was saying I told you I didn't do it. I said you should have had her inside if you had an issue not in the cold. I was told they did not have the staff for that. All this was in front of the director and she did not do a thing. I have also had issues with them allowing children to tell my daughter to pull down her pants. I was told it would be my daughters fault for listening to that child. I begged to have that child out of my daughters class but that said they could not due to staffing. Thankfully that child stopped going. I reported all this to my daughters school and was informed by staff there that they know that there are teachers at Sandite on drugs and they could have told me not to take her there. After a call to DHS I learned the director has child neglect charges on her record. Do your self a favor and DO NOT TAKE your children there.
I love love love this place! My son has cerebral palsy and has gone to this daycare since he was 6 months old. He is now 13 months. His teacher works with him doing his therapy everyday and makes sure he gets stretched like he is suppose to. They even kept him in the infant room past a year old. Since he was born 8 weeks early and he has Cerebral Palsy, it is hard for him to keep up with all the kids walking and crawling in the 1 year old room. So we talked and worked it out so my baby boy could be safe with the infants until he is at least crawling. Would highly recommend this daycare to anyone and everyone!
