It is a lovely place to visit. We had a picnic while out on a walk.

Great little park, is fenced in so children can play safely and has a nice selection of play equipment to choose from.

Lovely little park. Very well kept by local volunteers. There is a "cut and cook" herb garden, locals are encouraged to pick herbs to use in there own cooking. Brilliant idea. Enclosed childrens play area with swings, climbing frames and the like. There is also an awesome carving of foxes in this same enclosed area. Tables and benches dotted around the park. On Lead dogs are allowed on the large open space but not in the children's play area. Well worth a visit.

It's lovely and quiet. Great place for you dog to run around. And children have a good variety of things to play on. You can spend hours at that park x

Local green space for multi use. Kids play area. Well maintained. It was opened in 1937. Interesting entrance gate.

I use various green herbs from the bed in my pickles or salads with my own grapes. The rosemary tastes superb and the sage has a piquancy better than my home grown. This week I poached some cut price fish and added sage and a little vermouth. Also garlic and tomatoes from my own greenhouse were put with the salmon . I was surprised to find hidden by fallen leaves 2 types of parsley both English and Italian (thriving despite a rather frosty night) added this to a greek salad cheese and some anchovy stuffed olives. Where I originate the ladies love cooking and the traditional dishes are still popular. My great gran specialised in a rabbit pud and used the umble in the dumplings. Her husband sold farm produce and game. I make traditional food and we have virtually no waste. Also during the winter I knit and sew unravelling old woolly jumpers to make new items..make do and mend. Old dresses are unpicked and reused. I have made a hand bag today from a tweed suit.
