Grand station, amazing features and beautifully intact signalbox, although trains were not running, the station itself hosts an amazing classic footbridge, which is being restored in 2021.

We wanted to visit the signal box but it was closing. This was at about 3pm or soon after. We had a cuppa in the station cafe, which is quite atmospheric, and there is an exhibition there too about the history of the line. The cafe shuts at 4pm.

A wonderful place to visit with an exhibition room of railway memorabilia signal box tours and a vintage tea room well worth a visit

Nice tearoom and a great bunch of volunteers, proud to work with each individual at this station.

Lovely day out on the steam railway, plenty to see and do, rain or shine! We bought an inclusive ticket on the main line train, that covered the scheduled trains, which where well organized, and the steam trip, so a lot of rides up and down the island too! Recommended to park here, as their are other attractions near Brading worth visiting, and the station has a super cafe

Nice station cafe but check months/days for opening. For small fee can visit the old signal box. Friendly service.

An excellent visit if you are I resented in railways. The signal box your was 2.50 per adult and children under 11 are free. Very informative talk by a volunteer with lots of knowledge. Looked at the small museum and then had a cup of tea and Eccles cake! Easily accessible by train because it’s at the station!
