I really enjoyed seeing the animals, especially well looked aftered ones, all the animals looked really well kept and healthy. The Sanctuary kept to covid regulations, masks kept on indoors until we were outside in the Sanctuary then you could take off your masks however me and my mate kept our masks on thought out our visit, the weather was great, windy but sunny ️ with a warm breeze. The staff were very helpful and the atmosphere was chilled, it wasn't too overcrowded but it was busy, in all a great day out seeing cool animals.

Little gem here a nice place to visit. More things needed in the gift shop as it was poorly stocked. I would have got something for the kids if there was something nicer and not cheep and tacky looking. The meerkat experience is a must so book that along with your tickets. The staff are warm and friendly. The outside doesn't make it look inviting as it looks like graffiti on the walls. Especially when it's beside a delapidated closed hotel. I would go again though well worth a visit.

Well, it is okay for a zoo. But I wouldn't recommend going nor will I be returning. The only thing my children and I enjoyed seeing was the lynx first thing as it was very excited to see us. Then the tigers were playful at the fence too. But other than that, most of the cages appeared to be empty or one or two monkeys in a massive cage. There was very limited amount of animals and a very small park to play in. There is no way you can spend a day here, unfortunately we tried to spend as long as we could here but that was no longer than 1.5hours. There really isn't much to see or do. Reptile area was closed when we went without any mention of this before we had booked online. I've been to a lot of zoos and in comparison this is a very poor zoo. Definitely not worth the ticket prices, I was very disappointed.

Beautiful Zoo, lovely animals , friendly and helpful staff, highly recommend a visit, however it was a couple of years ago when I last visited, it may of changed from the pictures I took. Can not wait to visit again.

We have always visited the IOW zoo when we holiday in the IOW. Its a lovely little zoo with gorgeous and well treated animals. All the animals looked so relaxed and happy. It is lovely to walk round at your own leisure. Since we were here last there has been new and upgraded enclosures and even the play park for children. The staff were as always very kind and caring. My son loved asking the lady loads of questions about the reptiles and bugs which she took the time to explain.

We love the IOW Zoo, we always come over from Portsmouth to visit the zoo. The animals seem well looked after. (the two lionesses looked a bit bored on their rock they tend to always look fed up though, whereas Casper & the tiger next to him always seem to be up on their feet being active). Love how close to the animals you can get. Staff friendly. Clean well looked after zoo. Play area for kids is great. Clean toilets. Refreshment facilities are great too. Definitely worth a visit for sure!

Love it .. you can get so.close to the animals . It is really good value too as once you have paid admission about 12... you can return within 7 days for only 1 each. Well worth. Visit ️
