This was by far one of the best bunnies I've had after a long search in Joburg. The flavour of the curry and the gravy soaked bread was just perfection. Have been back and the high standards remain, so have indeed found my bunny spot in Jozi ;-)

Food is good, but the chef was very hostile towards my uber driver. I have been waiting over 1 hour for my food, the delay was from curry boss's side.

The worst experience and Indian takeout in Jhb by far. I ordered 3 burgers and a lamb bunny. The burgers were dry and disappointing. The burger buns were dry, stale and chewy - clearly old. The burger patties were clearly shop bought from one of the local Indian butchers and shrank to half the surface area of the burger bun. I could have gone to the butcher and a supermarket and made this better. The bunny chow bread was burnt on the one side that usually forms the top of the bread when whole. The bottom of the bunny chow was not even the end bit of a loaf of bread; it was a middle cut. I mean, who makes a bunny without a solid bottom?! It just fell apart when lifting and putting onto a plate. The curry was very disappointing in flavour and the curry pieces were cheap cuts of meat with loads of bone and fat - hardly any solid meat. Over and above the disappointing food, the overall experience collecting the food was dismal. I was stopped in the driveway by a bunch of teeny hoppers running a mini club at The Curry Boss. After getting passed them, I was menaced by a bouncer because I was wearing shorts and slops. Apparently I wasn't dressed appropriately for the ilegal 'club' being hosted there. After that confrontation he escorted me to collect my food. I had to walk through a club like setup filled with school kids illegally drinking, smoking and not following any COVID-19 safety protocols to collect my food which took forever because the staff were very incompetent. Apparently my Mr Delivery proof ofnorder and ourchase was very confusing for them to process in their minds and five me my food. Overall, the poorest experience ever.
