This is one of the most underrated roller coasters at Cedar Point - it really is one of the park's hidden gems. This thing is a timeless classic that is fun for the whole family. The airtime on this little beast rivals that of Magnum, because you literally get FLUNG out of your seat multiple times on here. I don't know why people complain it's rough, because I ride every time I go and have NEVER had a bad ride - which says something, considering this coaster's age. It's not intimidating at all. Lots of classic and timeless fun available on the Blue Streak!
Blue Streak is an absolute classic coaster. There's something about standing in line and imagining this thing back in its hayday, that makes me excited. Its the oldest coaster in the park dating back to the 1960s. It only tops 40 something mph, and the first and only real drop is pretty small. Its a bit bumpy and jerky, towards the end, especially as you're going over the last few humps. Wait time is usually around 30-45 which is acceptable for this coaster. Its a fantastic start up coaster for new riders, and a great warm up coaster to start your day. I usually hit it immediately as soon as I walk into the park just to get a fast hype to my day started.
It's an older wood coaster so it's clearly not going to be a smooth, perfectly comfortable ride. But with all things considered it's a great woodie that still packs a punch for it's small size and has good airtime. Best part is little to no wait!
i like so much. even know its blue but ride on this when i was 10 years old :)
