A basic hotel with clean functional rooms. Plenty of space in the rooms with tea and coffee facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ample free parking. Breakfast was plentiful and decent.

As a 3 star hotel I can assure you it isn't on first impressions looks good greeting from staff on counter no problem very curious. Hall ways look very dated and carpets dirty The room looks great but it was absolutely filthy bathroom looks like it's had a bit of a makeover but didn't do what should have been done would I I stay again not if you paid me

This place clearly proves the adage "You get what you pay for". This hotel proudly advertises that the rooms are newly refurbished. What they mean is there are new units in the bathrooms, new desks and hanging facilities. Paint has been hurriedly slapped on the walls. However, the shower rails are rusty, and the bathroom in general really isn't up to muster, with the shower being particularly disgusting. Also, the shower gel & shampoo generally provided were absent. As we arrived at the hotel, there was a gaggle of staff smoking in the entrance way. We had to walk through their smoke to get in the place. This seems to be a regular thing, judging by the mounds of cigarette butts in that area; to add insult to injury, they were right under a sign forbidding smoking in that area. This hotel is cheap (in every way) but I wouldn't say it was good value. We worked out it was cheaper to have breakfast at a local farm shop & The nearby Danish Camp, than to use their B&B facilities.

Don’t know why there are so many bad reviews on here. Is it dated? Yes. Is it in need of an overhaul? Yes. But you don’t pay small prices and expect the bloody Ritz. The twin room was clean, the bathroom was clean, the beds were comfy and the staff were helpful and friendly. At less than half the price of the other similar national hotel chains I was pleasantly surprised. I paid 166 for a twin room for four nights compared to the nearest Travelodge which was over 320.

Stayed for 2 nights 25-26 Sept on a coach trip. Apparently the place has been sold and closing down. The staff were very good and did the best they could considering they will soon be unemployed. They had to send out for milk for the rooms each day. The evening meal menu was very limited and breakfast was cancelled on Friday due to lack of food ! If you've already booked please check before you go.

Better than I thought it would be... It's a recommendation, to be honest, as there are some poor reviews. Communal areas are very worn but the room I was in was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom really good, and had a bath (result). There appeared to be lots of dried glue over the dressing table and bedside cabinet - Some people have strange "fun"..... Would I stay again - yes, I would. Cheap, staff were friendly, and good location. Never tried the food.

We held a charity masked ball here and it went fantastically well . Great staff , service and food. They could not of been more helpful . We will defiantly do another charity event there as everyone had a fantastic night and was asking when the next one would be . Thank you Nadine and her team .

Cheap place to stay right on the A1. We went for a wedding in Biggleswade, and wish we had stayed there. There was a toilet roll shortage for the 3 days that we spent there. We heard multiple guests being told they would be the first to get it, but none ever came. The room is relatively clean. Although it's advertised as updated, this was done on the cheap and it shows. There is no AC, so we had the windows open all night. It disturbed our sleep as wee were about 5m from the entrance where people smoked and chatted. The bed was comfortable, but there were several stains on the sheets. I've stayed in worse, but I've definitely stayed in better.
