Mike Dale is an AMAZING drum teacher. Not only has he taught my two boys set, snare, and quads, he has helped me to raise them into amazing drummers (Go Alta Drumline!!). Mike is compassionate, firm, hard working, fun to be around, and a great person. Both of my teenage sons have an extremely high level of respect and admiration for Mike.

Mike is an amazing drum teacher! He is kind and patient and meets with kids at their level then motivates them to improve with lots of positive reinforcement and easy to understand directions. My son really enjoyed his lessons and learned so much from Mike. I highly recommend his teaching services!
I haven’t even met Mike in person yet and I’m already taking the time to get online and write a 5-star review! I’ve been texting with him about my 14 year old son wanting a first drum set and drum lessons for his birthday next week. I told him I don’t know where to start! Mike got on KSL and started sending me links of good sets, told me what price to offer, etc. All while he is away on vacation, which I feel bad about! I am so glad I found him with an online search and grateful for his time and interest in helping us. We can’t wait to start lessons!
Mike is truly one of the best drum teachers in the state. Regardless of age, level, or style, you can't find better than Mike.
Mike Dale is a fantastic drum instructor. Five stars aren’t even close to being enough. He has many years of experience, is incredibly patient, and elicits hard work from his students with positive and supportive encouragement. He has become a wonderfully important influence in my daughter’s life.
My son has been taking drums from this studio for about 7 months and I couldn't be happier. Sam Buckmiller is his teacher and he is great. My son is only 6, but absolutely loves coming to lessons each week. He adores Sam. He is a great teacher and my son is learning the art of drumming, but also, and just as importantly, his confidence is soaring. Sam offers praise and has a way of boosting confidence. I would definitely recommend him for young drummers.
Mike Dale is by far the most amazing teacher I have ever had! He is such a talented drummer and has the nicest personality of anyone you will ever meet. Mike will always listen to you and do his very best to comply with your music type and your skills as a musician. Also, he creates the most fantastic and entertaining concerts and master class lessons. His home studio is a very comfortable place to practice in and his drum kit is absolutely beautiful. There is no question that Mike Dale is the number one drum teacher there is on the planet!
Our experience working with Mike was great! He is very easy to work with and made the lessons very comfortable and effective. The lessons were always fun yet challenging and he catered the music to the particular interests of my son as well as helped him with specific music he needed for his school drumming classes. He also took the time to get to know my son and show real interest in him as well as his development of drumming. The location is easy access and no problems with parking.
