I had a great experience here! This was our first time eating here and I ordered chicken and waffles. The chicken came out pretty overcooked, and the waitress offered to bring out some different ones. I did end up taking her up on the offer after trying them. They brought out some fresh ones that were AMAZING! The kids enjoyed their pancakes and my wife enjoyed the French toast, eggs and sausage. The portions of food are perfect to finish in the restaurant. Starla was our waitress and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our first visit there. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Starla!

Great service! Delicious fresh food. Lots of choices for breakfast or dinner. We loved the atmosphere also. We ate here twice this week after discovering it. We will be back.
I love the food here! In my opinion, French pastries are just way to go! I do happen to speak French, so this place is perfect for me. The things on the kids menus are also amazing! They're not sketchy at all. I would highly recommend this place if you're wanting a sort of fancy dine out with your family or one of your children!
Muffins are back!! We used to come almost weekly just for those until discontinued. Wife and daughter have eaten here for years and sure the servers and staff change and I’ve read the other reviews but I am a harsh critic and really believe this place deserves more positive reviews. Only people reviewing these days are upset and it’s easy for me to do the same so here we are, five stars! Great food, great service! Thanks guys!!
This is place is really cool. Food is good. I like the interior of this place. Been there many times but last two times we were not lucky to get good server. Last time the server served soup spilled all over. Food was on the table but not the utensils. We were not satisfied with the service. But food was good. We will go back again with expectation of better service.
While Mimi's decor feels dated, the food was good and service was friendly. My mother loved the buttermilk spice muffins. I must admit I like liked them served hot too!
I went to the Sandy Utah Mimis today to pick up some muffins and it was one of the word experiences. There was no one up front to greet after about 5 minutes I called the store to ask them to send someone up. The person who came up was dressed in pajamas and told me she didn’t even work here she was just helping. I told them I want to do a take out order and was told it would be a ten minute wait to place my order? 10 minutes until I could place the order?? I let her know I wanted to order muffins and she went to check, came back and said that was okay. I ordered two of the carrot raisin and waited about 7 minutes for them to get those. A guy who came in behind me was tried of waiting to be greeted that he left in the time. When I finally got the muffins I was so disappointed, they were old and clearly either made wrong or something, they are sunken down in the center and you could tell they were at least a day old. I was so done at this point I paid and left. I am so disappointed at this terrible experience and I could understand if they were busy but there were maybe 5 tables full.
By far the worst experience at any Mimi's or any restaurant, period. We offered to take our friends there after church, as we have been to many Mimi's in the US, and the breakfast is normally OK. After being seated, we waited 30 minutes for our waitress. She brought our drinks, but never returned to refill. We had to ask for utensils. She put in the wrong order for 2 of us, then my food was delivered after everyone else has finished. I had to get up from our table twice to find our waitress to ask for water refills and for salt/pepper. The food was horrible as well. I asked to talk with the Manager, who declined the invitation and said she was too busy in the kitchen to meet with any complaining guests. The waitress dropped off the check, but never returned to take our payment. I went looking for her again, and asked another waiter how I can pay the ticket. She didn't know how to work the register, so we had to collect cash from our group to pay the tab. We observed an employee wearing a hat that stated "F&CK THE POLICE" in bold letters, and kept walking to/from the kitchen to the lobby wearing the hat. This entire experience at the Sandy Mimi's was an embarrassment to us and our friends. No wonder this restaurant is failing. I've talked with several other people about this Mimi's in Sandy, UT, and they all said the management and staff are awful and they would never return. I recommend the owner's take accountability and close this place down, as I don't see how this business can recover with this established horrible reputation and complete lack of interest to improve.
