We called Mike for a quote on refinishing some wood floors in a flip. Although we didn't end up using M.S. Construction to complete the job (he was more expensive than another competitor in the area and we were working with a VERY tight budget), however, if we were looking for a company to work on our OWN house, or to recommend to a friend for quality work we would definitely use M.S. Construction Services. As a General Contractors, we work with a lot of subcontractors and we can say unequivocally Mike knows his stuff! He even warned us that he may come in more expensive, but that he wouldn't ruin the floors. We absolutely believed him and he was so right! The company we hired put lots of waves and divots in the floor, but because this was a flip being done on a tight budget for a friend we had to use them. But again, if we were going to hire someone to work on our own home we would most certainly use Mike's company. He is a professional in every way and truly knows his stuff (I mean man is this guy educated on the products and techniques!). Take it from this contractor ... MS Construction Services is HIGHLY recommended. Don't just go with the cheapest price is you care about the end result.

Mike and his team have installed hardwoods and refinished existing hardwoods in two of my houses now. His work is always outstanding, and the team is professional and courteous. 5 stars!
We needed to have our floors refinished and Mike was recommended by a friend. Interacting with Mike was so easy as he is very responsive, professional and friendly. We had to move the start date twice and Mike was understanding and accommodating. You can be sure that your project will be done right as Mike takes pride in what he does and will work to ensure that the end product is to his and yours satisfaction. I will definitely keep Mike's number for future project and will recommend him to my friends.

Mike was very detail oriented and did a nice job of installing wood flooring on a concrete slab in our home. When problems arose, he had specific suggestions on how to address those issues. I felt like Mike was very straightforward, fair, and interested in doing a good job. He was on-time for appointments and promptly answered emails. He provided a specific timeline as to when work would begin and end at the beginning of the project and stayed true to that timeline. Mike is a true professional and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again!
Mike & team finished a project last month that involved integrating new oak flooring with existing oak flooring and it all turned out great. Mike & his team handled all parts of the process very professionally. The workmanship was solid and the price fair. Mike was very good setting expectations and communicating all the way thru to the end. He also made some great suggestions not only on color choices and aesthetics, but some helpful tips on other projects going on in the house and recommended other professionals that were very helpful. The flooring has been in place for a month now and I've had no issues. It was my first time working with Mike, but it won't be the last and I'd recommend him without any reservations to anyone.
We had our kitchen remodeled and the hardwood floors needed to be patched in three places and then refinished. Mike not only gave a very competative bid but was knowledgable, professional and friendly. He did an outstanding job and we would highly recommend him to anyone who needs these type of services. I must say that my wife and I probably won't ever need another flooring expert. Mike Somodean and his team are absolutey the best. Mike id foresight, professional, experienced and most of all honest! After using Mike last year to refinish some almost 30 year old floors and made them look like new and actually changed the color for us. The process was simple and he delivered....they work clean ( clean up every day) communicate readily and hear this...responsive! Our latest product of accompanying those refinished floors with 50% more flooring where he had to research the exisintg purchase comparable and then...match the existing. Wow, we love the new floors!
