I am new to the area. The Urgent Care diagnosed me with pneumonia and gave me a brochure to see a Dr in this practice. I couldn't go to the main place because I was sick and had to go to the sick clinic. Dr Carney treated me terribly. I needed a refill on my Abuetrol inhaler and cough medicine that the urgent care Dr said I needed but she couldn't write the script for hence sending me to this place. Dr Carney treated me like a drug seeker. Never checked with Urgent Care. I gave them a list of medicines that I was currently taking. My PCP from Charlotte had to step in and take care of me. NEVER GO THERE AND SEE DR. CARNEY!!!!

Jennifer Beard, P.A., is incompetent when it comes to diabetes and dietary needs of vegetarians and vegans. She misdiagnosed and mistreated TYPE 1 diabetes as type 2, prescribing oral medication that did nothing for my body, as I need insulin since I am type 1. Instead of performing a c peptide or antibody test to verify the type of diabetes I had, she continued to mistreat and prescribed medications that ultimately hurt me and lead to me seeking help from a M.D. There is a reason she is a P.A. and not M.D. and. Run from her as fast as you can. Does not listen, makes assumptions instead of relying on science and technology.

Dr. Jessica Burgert has been my primary care physician sense July and she is one of the best Doctors I have ever had. It took me about two and a half months to get my first appointment but it was well worth the wait. Dr. Burgert is very nice and caring. She takes the time to truly listen to me and addresses all my issues and answer all my questions. She explains my conditions and work with me to find the best plain of treatment. Dr. Burgert is located 30 minutes away from me but the care she provides makes it worth the drive. Dr. Burgert is truly a blessing after dealing with ongoing health issues for a year and half and dealing with so many Doctors who did not care, did not listen or take my medical issues seriously, rushed the appointment like it was a race, had to wait hours to see, had nasty attitudes, provided horrible care that made me worse or none at all. So, I am extremely happy to have her as my primary care physician! The facility is great, very clean and the staff is nice. The only issue I have is it’s hard to get in contact with anybody at the facility and it took a long time to get seen as a new patient and a long time to be seen for my physical appointment but besides that everything else is great. I recommend Dr. Jessica Burgert 100%! She is great Doctor!

My husband and I really like Dr. Burgert. She listens to you and immediately acts on information you give. When she says she is doing a referral for you, she does. You don't have to chase it down; the office she refers you to, calls to make an appointment for you. Dr. Burgert is thorough and kind and has really helped me.
