Great doctors but horrible customer service when you call in over the phone and major privacy concerns. Not sure your private files remain private there. It’s a small town but you still deserve privacy to those things. No reason a front desk receptionist or nurse should ever be examining files out of their own curiosity let alone repeating the names of anyone who comes through the facility outside of the workplace. Disappointed to say the least.

Just called Sanford today (1-06-21, 4:05 pm) and asked to be transferred to vision so I can order more contacts. Then the girl on the phone interrupted and asked if I’m making an appointment to which I was going to respond “no I’m ordering new contacts” but before I could even say “no” she said “we make the appointments” uhh. So then she asked for my information and I told her and she asked “is this a yearly eye exam” I said “no I’m ordering cont-“ then she yells and says “you have to talk to the vision department to order new contacts we do appointments” then transfer me. Very unprofessional and was seen to be hurried to go home and has the nerve to tell me I need to be talking to vision. Well if she let me talk she would know what i was calling for.

Wish there was a 3.5 star option. The staff here are knowledgeable and capable. Good care, and convenient scheduling. Loss of stars for inability to keep appointment time within reason. Regularly seen by doctor 30min after scheduled appointment time.

I am incredibly saddened by my experience with Sanford. I fell in love with my doctors and my healthcare providers-however, after I discovered there was a nurse who looked into my private health records, I was extremely frustrated. I immediately requested that the privacy department look into the rest of my family's private health records to see if this same nurse had violated their privacy as well. It turns out this nurse did look into both of my daughter's records...I am hurt and frustrated. Sanford seemed to brush this under a rug because the nurse claimed she was looking it up for a \scrapbook.\ No scrapbook requires someone to break the law on MULTIPLE occasions over the course of 8 months-1 year. I have reached out to the nursing board to help resolve this as an unbiased, outside agency. I don't know if there is more training that needs to take place in regards to HIPAA or morals, I mean ethics, but this is devastating. My whole family has changed clinics due to this.

My hubby missed the doctor's appointment last week. We did not received any phone call or message as a reminder. Not good
