Poor customer service. If you are latino beware, from the moment you walk in, their staff will follow you all around the store. Yes they think you will steal something. Forget about supporting\small business\ like this one. I rather spend my money in tractor supply

The staff that runs this place is amazing. They’re very knowledgeable and able to give me their own personal experiences with the products they sell. They Carry a wide range of products for chickens, rats, goats, horses, cats, dogs, and more. You name it they probably have it. They always carry the healthiest and cutest chicks in town! The boots and clothes are a little expensive but I would say feed/hay/shavings and chicks/ducks are all priced accordingly. I absolutely LOVE the beaver shavings they carry! Keep up the great customer service Horstmeyers! Our family will always shop at your store!

I purchased a bag of dog food to find it was tapped up from being chewed opened by a rat. I stoped coming here after and in a bind I’ve come in to get a bag today and none of the employees are following any covid safety measures. It’s just a total disregard to the community health and well being.

Very knowledgeable staff that was eager to answer questions from both myself and grandkids (7 and 8 y.o.). Liked the fact that the young lady that waited on us admitted to not know some answers to our questions..but she did find out for use from other staff. Prices are reasonable. I was amazed that there wasn't any kind of chemical smell. Actually smelled clean for farm ans garden center.
