My daughter has been with Mrs. Alice-Margaret Byerts for 6 years and at Lochwood Academy since its inception. I am so thrilled that we found Mrs. Byerts and that she founded Lochwood. The instruction is superb, and professional; the atmosphere is creative and peaceful. I love to sit in the waiting area and listen to the different sounds coming from different rooms, be it voice, piano, clarinet, oboe, choir, etc. All the teachers are patient and kind yet offer real feedback so that the students learn. I see the results especially in the year-end showcase which students audition and are packed with talent and quality entertainment. Every time I see someone who has talent, I want to tell them about Lochwood because I trust that they are helping my daughter develop her talent and love of music and performance, and I want to share that with others. It is time and money well spent. Lochwood is a treasure and we are so lucky to have them in our area.
