I believe my father William Stone was one of Dr. Papakostas first patients here in Sanford. He suffers from diabetes which in turn has greatly affected his lower extremities. I truly believe my dad would of lost his feet and legs along time ago if it wasn’t for the care and compassion (Doc. P) showed my father. That same care and compassion still stands today! She is very intelligent, very skilled and well educated in her field of expertise, but most of all she is a Doctor that goes above and beyond her degrees to care for her patients. She has grown her business in our small town and continues to bring skilled doctors into our community to assist with her patients care. Her office is very clean and staffed with very helpful pleasant employees. Our family is forever grateful for her!!! As you can tell we give her more stars than google can hold and highly recommend her for your foot and ankle needs. ️William Stone & Family

Dr Papakostas is a wonderful doctor! I had never been to a podiatrist before, and I was quite nervous. She and her staff were so welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. Dr. Papakostas took the time to listen to my concerns and was really able to help me with my problem. I would recommend her to anyone!

I am medical transport for many different patients the first one I brought here was on a Saturday Doctor Papakosta and his nurse were very nice. The second patient was a very large lady in an oversized wheelchair with her legs extended out straight whose appointment was actually at the next office but it was raining and the offices are connected so the nurse here held the door for us and invited us to go thru there out of the rain. When my patient was finished and we came back thru on our way out, there were 4 receptionists behind the desk and I asked for help with getting her out and in the van. None was given I had to open the door by backing up to it and roll her out by myself and struggle to load her up in the van by myself while they stood there doing nothing! Like I said before both Dr Papakosta and his nurse are very nice and helpful but I can't say the same for his receptionists!

Dr. Papakostas and staff are a great team. They are all enjoyable, friendly and truly care about you as an individual and as their patient. Dr. Papakostas was very knowledgeable and highly skilled. She explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions. There is no question that they considered my long term health and activity level on their treatment plan and took outstanding care of me!!

I saw Dr. Papakostas for a painful great toe. She took an X-ray in her office and diagnosed me with an arthritic joint. She took time to explain all the treatment options which included surgical and non surgical. We decided on a special insert which she offered in her office and was surprisingly inexpensive. After wearing that for a few weeks my pain is virtually gone. The staff was also fantastic from start to finish. Highly recommend!

This office is lack of professionalism, the Doctor did not even took the time to explain or give me different options to cure my heel pain. It took her staff over two months to give a simple answer regarding my insurance coverage for orthotic inserts, and thats because I had to reach out to them more than 2 times if not I would of probably still be waiting for an answer. Lastly their billing department billed me two times after I had already paid my bill, that was five days before the due date. Be careful with this office, like I said before they're lack of professionalism!

I have seen Dr. P and my insurance deductible and my responsibility for the cost were explained in full as well as my treatment plan. She and her staff are very thorough at Premier Foot and Ankle. I highly recommend the practice.
