Bought halwas of tender coconut, traditional black and red, and chilli green after reading the reviews. They were good. Tender coconut halwa tend to change taste after one or two days, so buy in limited quantity. Liked the red traditional halwa the most.

The plain red one was hard as a rock, but was tasty if you consider it like a bubble gum. Black, dry fruits ones were really good.

Halwa was fresh. They r happy to suggest the flavour and they r happy to give u taste samples of every flavour they have. Very friendly staff. Wheat halwa was everyone's favourite at home.

Its one of the oldest and most popular shop in SM Street ( മിഠായി തെരുവ്). If you want to get traditional kozhikode halwa this is one of the places to go. They have wide varieties available there. The SM Street has been renovated recently. It looks much better now.
