The aim of the company is to mix together our knowledge and experiences in order to achieve an intense and deep creative process. From the beginning we perceived that communication was our essential tool in design. Our common concern is to embrace our thoughts and opinions allowing us to focus on the same goals. Our mutual commitment and connection as designers gives our company the energy and abilitiy to produce a dynamic and flexible creating process that allows us to propose, analyze and redefine with great efficiency. The word create for us means to experiment continuously in the aim of finding logic between the environment and the elements that interact with it. Often we like to imagine that our studio is a parallel world where we break down opinions and unite part of them to build logic that gives a reason and purpose for our ideas. Once the goal is defined, the process to create a formal definition that lets the product transmit its own reason to be begins. This process must be consistent and industrially viable as well as being environmentally friendly. Pla&Fantoba believe that each product has a direction and a purpose. What defines this belief is the obsession with details, playing with proportions and managing both functional solutions such as production processes.
