I was invited for a destination wedding. I was with my brother and his Canadian friends... 3 hours travel time from Tuguegarao was worth it. Place was awesome. Villas are intelligently constructed. Golf carts are available for transfer to different amenities such as restaurant, casino, pool area with pool side bar, spa, gym and many more. The crew were so nice and accommodating. Rooms are clean and airconditioned..

Unless you are specifically coming for the casino, I absolutely do not recommend staying here. This place is twice the price of surrounding resorts and not nearly as nice. The rooms and the restaurant smell very strongly of cigarette smoke. We got a non-smoking room but the cigarette smell was so strong I quickly got a headache any time we were in the room for more than a few minutes. Also, the bed felt like a wooden box with a sheet over it. To their credit, they made the refund process very easy so we were able to leave after the first night and find alternative arrangements. The resort we went to the next night was half the price of this one and much nicer.

We arrived here yesterday and on first glance the suite seemed satisfactory. However, the beds were so uncomfortable and we discovered they were just the box spring and no matress. TV was only in Chinese. Water flooded our bedroom. No coffee in the room. Parking was no where near our suite. We had planned to stay 2-3 days but we are checking out after only 12 hours. This place is so overpriced I can't think of any reason why anyone would want to stay here. Total disappointment!

I was staying here for a friend's destination wedding, with lots of travel before and after. the amenities were nice however the bathrooms in the villa were very dirty, and the beds were very uncomfortable. We stayed for three days and our villa was cleaned once, as well as to get more toilet paper we had to call the front desk. In all the places I have stayed in the Philippines this was by far the worst bang for buck. I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Its a big chinese resort with a casino even with a lot of chinese employee's and 95 % of the guests are chinese special since they opened the small international airport in cagayan the place is mostly fully booked as chinese people love gambling ! even all the TV channels are chinese ! the resort is nice but quiet expencive.

A surrealistic place If you for some reason happen to be in Santa Ana, the almost northern tip of the whole Luzon you are really off the beaten track but probably heading for the ferry going to the Babuyan Islands. There are not much here in Santa Ana, but you have the Cagayan Holiday & Leisure Resort here. This is a big casino and a Chinese restaurant with accompanying bungalows. When you pass by on the road outside it looks really anonymous like a big quiet warehouse or something. It's only the signpost which tells you there is something going on inside the compound. But don't hesitate. Just proceed through the gates and walk along the big warehouse wall until you reach the front and you will be amazed! A big entrance with fountains and nice plantings welcomes you. But it's a little bit of a surrealistic experience, in the middle of nowhere, in this small town Santa Ana you find this place and there is almost no people around. By the time we were there having dinner there was only one other guest present. However the food was delicious and the portions were huge. We ordered sweet and sour soup and beef with mushrooms. The food was price worthy and they also had a good WiFi here.
