Worst car rental experience of my life and I’m an experienced traveler who has rented more than 50 cars in many different countries. Avis rented me a car with bad breaks and it almost killed me. I needed to call a tow truck and the company charged me 100 Euros for the tow despite the fact that they rented me in a car that was not in safe driving condition.... They violated the terms of their contract as the rented me a vehicle that wasn’t “roadworthy” (see photo below). As an international renter I believed they thought they could screw me and that there is nothing I can do about it.... maybe my money is gone but this review is my statement to other potential customers to let them know what crooks Avis rent a car is.... STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS...Go with Hertz or Enterprise; far superior customer service.

Quick and friendly, super easy pick up and drop off, don't understand the latest reviews, what I did not like was that there was no office at the airport and that there was no indication where the busses leave... Otherwise would have been 5 stars

Their customer service is horrible. It's been two times already when booking a car for vacation with them and all the time there are transactions pending for a lot of time after returning the car. Trying to reach them for more than a week now with no reply. This never happened while using Topcar, Cicar or Plus Car. Choose anything else and enjoy! They also have no clear pickup location and we had to search all over the airport for a bus location that takes you to their car pickup location.

To give a helpful review - Where is the shuttle? - Once you exit from the luggage claim go to the left - go all the way nearly to the end of the hall, till you see the taxi sign. Be careful there are 2 taxi stands at this airport. The other (and wrong) one is at the exact opposite - directly opposite you see bus stops and a shuttle comin all 15 minutes

Only 4* for being not at the airport. Great cars. Good service. No long waiting time, always 2-3 employees even during the nights. Rental service Sunny Cars explained access to Avis very well. Go to TFS airport door #6 (left hand side of arrival gate). Or you can go to the airport desk #2, they are responsible for the shuttle bus. Or just go out of the arrival gate, go to the left side and walk through the whole airport terminal to the most left door (#6), go outside, over the street and see to the left some white shelter/bus station. Every 10mins the bus (AVIS/BUDGET) shuttles around. If not there just wait a few minutes. 3 mins drive to the station.

Avis did a great job Just to find the shuttle is tricky. If you exit the airport go left to the end of the taxi lane (the entry for the parking lot) there a shuttle market with Avis / budget will arrive
