The thing I can do best in life is to show others how much they can do themselves. I have been an active teacher and coach for over 10 years. What does it really mean? For me, it is creating a psychologically safe space while teaching. Letting people know that they are not alone, that there is someone who supports and motivates them in their learning process. A coach is a person who listens, asks proper questions and assists during the journey of development and achieving goals. My mission is to help managers to grow, both in the field of language fluency and soft business skills. My work is based on my experience and knowledge that I never stop to broaden. I got BA and MA degrees in English Philology, I finished three post-graduate studies: Stratedy and Business Planning, Psychology in Business, Business Coaching and doctoral studies in Management, during which I was conducting research on team coaching in Lean-driven environment because I was cooperating with a Japanese company for many years (Okaya & CO). My studies never interfered with my work, on the contrary, they helped me because I always try to be up to date with science and implement everything I know in my current challenges. Setting and developing my own training company as well as being the Head of Studies in an international corporation gave me an opportunity to implement all the theories that I learnt during studies into practice and I was able to experience difficulties with which my students and clients deal with on a regular basis and therefore understand them better. When I teach, I try to make it in the form of practical workshops so that the attendants leave the room with new, useful abilities that they can use in real life, for instance during meetings and presentations. Blending English and business is the key to succes in nowadays compatitive professional environment and I do my best to make it work together.
