Incredibly inefficient!!!! An picture book example of overblown bureaucracy. 1x visit for obtaining a form 2x visits at other locations for paying 1x more visit to drop off the forms 1x visit to pick it up 2x extra visits because they figured out one of my photocopies was not good enough (one for dropping off the photocopy and another to pick up the form) In total: 7 visits to obtain a simple piece of paper (NIE blanco)

The worst \service\ I have ever experienced. Got an appointment and was told to wait outside and that they would call me in. Nobody did call me, but then after a while they just closed the office without any word to the waiting people outside.

Be prepared to sit long time at the station (several hours) and no information. Asking the officers how long time the answer “don’t know”.

There is a general coldness in treatment when you don’t speak Spanish. The guy in reception lost his smile after he realised that my Spanish did not extend beyond buenos Dias! He was quick to say I needed to go to the local police while I was trying to explain I had already reported my incident on the phone and had a number. I was then waved into the waiting area where I spent 90 minutes waiting. Extremely slow service at a rate of one case every 40 minutes. No toilets on site . I was okay going to the BP station half a mile away. A lady with back pain and pelvic issues was in a terrible state and needed to go but no toilet on site.

A clean environment with good respectful staff most do not speak any english. There isn’t any accessible parking, I was ok next door in the museum area but would recommend using Siam Mall to be sure. If you go there be prepared for up to a 4 hour wait, even if you have already reported online or by phone.
