Good for kids
I have been to Madeira 12 times before and this is definitely one of the nicest places! It's made with so many details, an unbelievable garden, breathtaking view to Ponta de São Lourenço and a super host!! 5 and more...

This is a nice house with a beautiful view and a big garden but that is not managed at all : •\twe discover upon our arrival that some handyman (or gardener ? or house manager?) actually lives downstairs and is wrongly reporting what we do; •\twhen we asked why the dishwasher was not working, the answer was : it is not included in the price !! what kind of customer care is that? Especially when other ads of the very same rental mention the dishwasher? •\tWhen the handyman came to fix it (which he did not do!), he must have reported that the kitchen was dirty because the manager reported this to us right away without checking! Not only this information was objectively wrong because we cleaned the kitchen every day. but writing that to us was irrelevant and insulting! Irrelevant because the landlord is only supposed to check it at the end (as necessary) and insulting because false and supposed to be checked by the management before to copy paste irresponsibly the message. We are all expecting apologies here; Moreover the handyman never came to clean the house during our stay, this is a clear lie, •\tThe garden is not maintained at all, at the very least it was very different from what the advertisement show: see herewith pictures; •\tWe had to request extra utensils as the house need more equipment than what it is supposed to propose for 10 people; the house had only 8 chairs! •\tLastly, but not least, the only two double beds are actually small inflatable beds ok for young children but not for youngsters or adults; we therefore had to ask for an extra mattress… We can only explain all those hassles by a barely rented house managed with incompetent people, which disturbed our stay when not insulting us instead of helping. We are therefore not recommending this rent until at least the management is changed.
Such a good place to stay. The house is very confortable and clean. The garden is fabulous and the owner is always available to help. Highly recomended!
