The rabbi is unique, well versed in all religions. Leads a class on Thursday afternoons on the bible as literature wnich is part of the Emeritus College schedule. He also leads some groups that meet Sunday mornings which are also very interesting, not part of the Emeritus program.

This is an amazing Synagogue. Rabbi is very intelligent and knowledgable. The education director and all the teachers are warm, nurturing and caring about all the kids. Everyone there is friendly and kind. The environment is safe and loving - it feels like one big extended family.

I was in Santa Monica this past week visiting family and went to the Santa Monica Synagogue. I have had a challenging summer and have found it more difficult to connect spiritually in my home town of Denver, CO. After attending the Santa Monica Synagogue I felt refreshed and renewed again. Everyone I met including the Rabbi made me feel welcome and at home. Thank you again and I hope to visit the next time I am in town. Chris Denver, CO
