This has been a great spot to dance and party over the years, both at Senator Jones and the other club names before it…

Great hidden gem in Santa Monica! They used to be called V Lounge then changed their name to Senator Jones. Depending on the DJ they have there, this place is a pretty good bar/lounge. Has a slight club feel but still intimate. Drinks are pretty good, and priced alright. From what I know it’s usually free. If they have a big name DJ I think you just need to rsvp on their website.

Great place for salsa on Tuesday night! Real good instructor, amazing DJ music and real good dancers! This place is not pretentious. It's really about dancing and having a good time. U was the DD so didn't drink but my friends enjoyed the mixed drinks! Great salsa club

Love this place! Found out about this place through Nights of Dance for their salsa classes last year and have been taking the classes at least once a month for 6 months or so and absolutely love them! I get to learn, practice & exercise all while having a blast. I really like the venue! Nicole and Charlie are good teachers and both very charming and friendly. The venue is clean, spacious & you can feel the ac in different parts of the room (when it's on) which helps me cool down after dancing for a while. The bartenders are usually relatively friendly, drinks are fine, priced about the same as everyone other place I guess? Bathrooms have a few stalls. The energy and atmosphere is usually very positive and fun. There's always a few stuck up folks, but most people don't take themselves too seriously & just enjoy themselves. It doesn't get too crowded but you're bound to bump into people since the salsa and bachata dances require wiggle space.

This place is definitely one of the spots to hit up when you are in samo there at a ton of Santa Monica college cool kids that hang out here as well as people from ucla too The place has ok lights but the music is pretty loud; I can barely hear myself talk to other people but at least they have good djs; a good mix of electronica and techno and some radio stuff too
