Santa Pola, Spain
Salines de,

The Torre del Tamarit was a nice surprise in the middle of the road. There's a couple of spaces for parking next to it and a brief explanation of the site. It is located near Santa Pola, by the Salinas (salt natural park per say), that's why it's also known as the Torre de las Salinas. It's a square tower and you can see that it has been recently restored. I sat by the water for an hour just enjoying the surroundings and watching the huge fields/lakes of salt. Nice finding!

First time last week was so good arranging to return hopefully next week. 2 of the world's biggest and longest water slides in benidorm. The new cyclone ride is insane especially if you are the person going backwards pure adrenaline rush as is the red vertigo slide no time to think. But to the contrary there is many tamer relaxed attractions. I enjoyed the gran spa. Also the option for a photo with an actual sea lion for 7 euros is very reasonable. Love this place the staff are very helpful and most speak or understood English and my broken spainish. Enjoy it I did and will again.
Lovely space near the Salina's.
Originally a communication tower, providing a link for passing visual messages along the coast, the renovated tower is worth seeing and photographing if only for its location, surrounded by the salt lakes of Santa Pola, and visited by both common and rare birds on a regular basis. A small layby is provided in the southerly direction of the N-332 coastal road, where an information board explains more. Take your camera, take a break, take your litter home, and enjoy this little piece of history as your journey unfolds.
Beautiful spot just off the moan road, some parking, worth a 5min stop
Great views plenty of wildlife
Worth stopping if you are driving past. Some fabulous birds including flamingos, stilts, gulls etc.
