Nice plaza where you can enjoy sitting on one of the benches in the shade and do some people-watching. There are a few shops surrounding the plaza and also a cafe or two as well ad a carousel that provides entertainment for the kids at 1,50 a ride (not sure if open everyday in the evening).

Very beautiful place... And there you must not miss Churros at the corner of the plaza!
Not much doing due to covid but cafes still open, only terrace seating no inside. Some cafes charging 1 to 1.5 extra.
Cool place to visit
The iconic Plaza in Santander. Gorgeous area for a delicious lazy coffee and people watching. Just off the main waterfront strip its arches are the perfect shelter from rain & winds.
Sunday morning, , sun shining, all the families out having a drink..no lifestyle police here. Really good band playing in the bandstand.Pleasant place for an hour or two .
It was very good on a sunny afternoon .. lots to do ..
