Great food, aesthetic display, great ambiance. Service was the worst I've ever gotten (no exaggeration). I believe the staff was trying to be open and friendly, but he was inadvertently making me uncomfortable with his sexist comments. He was incredibly intrusive, condescending and mysoginistic. He interrupted our conversations many times, often spitting out generalizations about women that I did not appreciate. Forget the mysoginistic comments, I still think it's deeply unprofessional to barge in on customers' conversations and unsolicitedly share a little too much about his life, making gender assumptions about women that make customers uncomfortable IN THE WORKPLACE. I understand that the Portuguese culture is very open and friendly (which I love), but this was way too far. And when my friends told him that what he said were mansplaining and condescending to women, he literally said \oh I don't care\. When they actually tried to have a serious conversation with him in Portuguese, that he was making me, a customer, uncomfortable, there was no remorse nor effort to make a simple apology. He didn't see how his behavior could be problematic. Instead, he was defensive and finding ways to justify himself. I'd tolerate this kind of behavior in a normal setting, but at a professional setting where you are dealing with customers? Come on. I believed he was not ill-intended, but that was just way out of hand.
