Fantastic service, excellent attention. I was glad I stopped by for a warming and refreshing hot chocolate. It was made in the spot and was very tasty. The churros although were no match for it, were free and we were offered as many as we wanted. Would stop by anytime when in the area.

A friendly place. Almost everyday, You have a cloudy weather at Santiago, that's why a chocolate or a coffee is always welcomed. The chocolate of Metate is delicious, and much better when it is accompanied by churros!! You can ask for chocolate with cream, ice cream, etc. Last time we couldn't enjoy the pub area, it opens only on weekends (until 3 am!!). But, still we enjoy the visit, and the nice attention from its owner. Visiting this place is a must in Santiago.

THE place for chocolate con churros in Santiago. Tastes how it should - not too sweet chocolate, crispy light churros. A great way to end the Camino.
