Fundación Ramón Domínguez for Research, Development and biomedical Innovation was founded in 2001 as a non-profit organization, with the aim of providing support and advice to professionals and researchers of Santiago de Compostela Healthcare Area and Lugo, Cervo and Monforte Healthcare Area. Our mission is to promote research, teaching, scientific development and innovation in our healthcare area, being a reference in the specialized management and promotion of research in the healthcare environment, supporting research groups in all phases of the value chain of biomedical research and health in general. We are the managing body of Health Research Institute of Santiago de Compostela (IDIS), a translational research, innovation and knowledge transfer center that promotes synergies between the Galician Health Service and the University of Santiago de Compostela, and which they are linked more than 60 groups and about 700 researchers.
