The food was fine but the staff are crooks! I changed my order 20 seconds after putting it in. The waitress brought all the food anyway (more than I could eat) and charged full price for it, rather than the “menu del dia” price even though it was the same food. I even got charged full price for the dessert (4 euro for bad flan) because they added whipped cream on top and apparently that disqualifies it from being part of the “menu.” I overpaid by 20 euro and the staff said there was nothing they could do. It was a scam and they did it on purpose and could have easily refunded the extra charges. This is unethical and unprofessional. I speak perfect Spanish so this was not a language barrier issue. Avoid this restaurant!

Small bar with a pride in galician tradition. The 12euro menu of the day gave a real flavour of the pays. Fish soup and hake was the fish of the day (served with just potato) so simple that you really could believe it was cooked by your grandmother. Serving staff were hesitant in English but really wanted you to enjoy the food. We were not allowed to leave without the obligatory Almond Tart (I have to admit that it was moister and tasted better than many of the others we sampled)

To expensive for small and not good plates. Not so kind with my Korean friends

Great fresh food at really reasonable prices. Local dishes and\u200b wines plus a great value menu of the day. All in a picturesque and friendly bar right opposite the university in the heart of Santiago de Compostela old town.
