The Other Side of the Coin

The food is interesting, putting a spin on traditional spanish food. But the sauces completely smother any flavour, way too much salt. I ordered scallops and couldn’t enjoy the delicate sweet flavour at all. I had to take the sauce off with bread. Then the mains was noodles and seafood. An interesting version of it, lovely presentation. Again, the sauce killed any flavour of the seafood, so salty. I persevered for dessert, at least that wouldn’t be salty. Sadly my traditional crepes were smothered in a toffee sauce and sickly sweet. Someone needs to tell the chef to dial it down a little to let flavours come through other than salt and sugar. It’s a waste of good food and presentation. It was 55EU for one person. At this price I would expect something better. A shame. The presentation and ideas were good, location and service good.

excellent spot to have something to eat and drink while watch people finishing their Camino on the way to the pilgrimage office. Very attentive and friendly service

Excellent food (Scallops &Rice), asparagus for starters although not pictured here. Exceptional service, the lady that served my meal was a matriarchal type, I didn't catch her name. Some may describe the staff as abrupt or fast paced but this would be a misconception as the they were run off their feet, very busy. Despite that I would/will definitely eat here again.

We loved this place! Our celbration seafood platter at the end of our 7 day Camino Walk. Photo does not do justice and the wine and generous complimentary carafes of liquere was way too much for two. Really nice meal and atmosphere for dinner. Had the pulpo for lunch earlier with spanish crusty bread. Very yum.

20 a glass of whisky, served in a wrong glass with wrong doses. Never again.
