We went to Italica because we knew it was a filming location for Game of Thrones but we were so impressed with what we saw. It was absolutely beautiful and like talking a walk back in time. We went first thing on a Sunday morning and it was empty. It gave us a great opportunity to explore and take in the ruins up close. Do make sure you have the number for a cab to get you back into Sevilla or know how to use the bus line because it is outside of the city and there are no cabs around.

We got the bus here from the bus station in Seville, very easy trip takes about 20 minutes, the site itself is quite big so you could spend 3 or 4 hours here, there is a cafe near the entrance and a drinks machine if its closed.

Easy to get to by bus from plaza de armas Bay 41. Entrance was free for some reason. Lots of areas you couldn't go to but very empty. Worth a couple of hours of your time.

Well worth a morning visit if you're in Seville for a short holiday. 30min bus ride from main bus terminal. Free entrance for EU citizens, so have some ID handy.

Very beautiful and inspiring. Whwre game of thrones was filmed for one episode in season 8. Very hot in summer, our trip was in early July 2019 so it’s best to Arrive early Entrance fee was 1.50 euros. Get a guide, Alejandro Paniagua is Spanish speaking private tour guide who is very knowledge of the history of the region, only 5 per person but our group gave him 20 each for such an awesome guide. You can find him at the entrance.
