Tiny coffee shop nested in the heart of Sapporo. Definitely recommended if you wanna enjoy a properly made, high quality coffee. They're very skillful and experienced baristas, with an extended knowledge in the field, offering a great selection of beans roasted by them, and delicious Hokkaido milk straight from the farmers. Some sweet bites are also available to accompany with your drink. English-speaking friendly.

Coffee places typically offer a choice of different blends or origins to go into your drink. Baristart inverts this paradigm by offering milk with different flavour profiles from various parts of Hokkaido. That the resulting latte can taste so different speaks to the diversity of Hokkaido’s agricultural industry and this tiny coffee shop provides the grand stage for this showcase.

Always love to visit Baristart when I'm in Sapporo. The house roast is delicious and you can choose the milk that you would like them to use for your drink - with options from around Hokkaido. Staff are always so friendly, happy to answer questions (they can speak English), and consistent with coffee quality. It's a little bit more expensive than other cafes but definitely worth it knowing you will get a great coffee there every time!

A very small place but the coffee is great! I enjoyed sitting in here when the store was empty and it was snowing outside

This is a very small cafe store. Recommended to do take away coffee as this place only have four seats with a bar table. The coffee is awesome.. So far this is the only cafe I found in Sapporo to provide good coffee with latte art. If you are around the corner and like to have some coffee fix, this is the place for you.

Love that they offer single origin beans for espresso. Was able to try Ethiopia (Espresso) and their Robusta blend (latte). Espresso was nice, lots of fruity flavor. Robusta blend was okay. Enjoyed my experience and went back the next day to try the Guernsey Latte. Milk was overpowering. Still a great experience!

A newly opened cafe in Takukikoji shopping arcade. I think the one I went to was a new branch due to the things they wrote on the papers and the location was different from the Google map, but I couldnt add a new place, so since it's the same brand, I will say here that the foods are okay. A bit confusing when I got the crapes instead of pancakes, which was written on the menu, but they used the good quality ingredients and it tasted nice for me. I love the coffee more, and the atmosphere as well. The branch I've been to was on the second floor of the building that makes customer can enjoy the view in the afternoon time. It's quiet and warm inside, good for going alone and also a group of friends.

Officially my favorite coffee place in Sapporo. Great coffee, cool design, friendly staff - all in the center of the city. Highly recommend!
