Very friendly staff, the language barrier did not prevent them from recommending things to do. Inside there is a mini museum and they also sell very reasonably-priced souvenirs. They had a quiz to win capsule toys, but we didn't try since we weren't confident, plus you have to scan a QR code, we also didn't have the QR scanner app. The free shuttle bus to Hoheikyo Dam departs outside this centre.

The jonzankei officer are kind and give plenty full information for travel. We used a kappa liner from sapporo to jonzankei. This is a reserved seat bus. Sould be call by Japanese and before the day of reservation.

If you take a bus from Sapporo bus terminal, get off the first bus stop at Jozankei Town and the information center is just a short walk away. Staff are helpful and showed us where the bus stops are on the map, as well as where to get the best views. IMO this is a great place to start a self-guided tour of the town, if you are not familiar with place
