人も歩ける自転車用道路で厚別区寄りが「ひだまりロード」、白石区寄りが「白石サイクリングロード」と名称が２つあります。年間通して通行できて所々にベンチや水飲み場、トンネルに橋、花壇まであります。植生も豊かで桜、紅葉、白樺、季節の花々が咲き楽しめます。公園や神社、地下鉄駅などに近い区間もあります。
