Oreade Monteverdi is one of the most amazing restaurants we have dined at. It is part of the Monteverdi resort which occupies the hill you will dine on. Most of the guests appear to be on their honeymoon but we dined with two families and our children and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The views and food are hard to describe. It's worth the short 10 min drive up the dirt road to have a meal here and perhaps plan a visit back one day. I'd guess the food rivals many Michelin 1 star restaurants and it's very reasonably priced.

We visited here in 2014 and the food still remains some of the best we have ever experienced. The setting inside Monteverdi adds to the overall enjoyment and provides a lasting impression of the beauty of Tuscany.
Wonderful atmosphere, outstanding service and delicious food for meat lovers and vegans alike. Local wines seem bit overpriced but wine-list itself has great selections.
