Top notch! One of the leading home builders in Saskatoon. Great staff, more than accommodating on your house, garage, multiplex, and condos. You definitely get what you pay for and any issues are taken care of - if there actually were any issues. You won't regret it.

We love the area, the homes are beautiful. I am writing a not so good review for 2 reasons: A) we purchased our home 3.5 years ago and was promised that in 2 years we would have our alley paved... not the case. We are still waiting. We have contacted Arbutus on multiple occasions throughout this summer and was told that it would be done this season. Well summer has come to an end, still no alley. Tired of having Parking wars with the neighbours. Plus with street sweeping and not being able to access our pad after it rains is super annoying!! Winter is even more fun...NOT! B) we recently had to replace our circuit board on our 3 year old furnace. No warranty...apparently when a furnace is installed the manufacturer has to be notified within 60 days from install to qualify for 10 year warranty. Not informed of this and very disappointed!!...we are still waiting to see if the electrician is successful in maybe finding out if we have or can qualify for a 5 year warranty...fingers crossed! I wish that this was disclosed at time of purchasing the home, so that did not have to dish out 1000 on a 3 yr old furnace. We hope to find out soon if we will get a refund if we do qualify for 5 year warranty.
Great builder with high quality homes
So happy we decided to build our home with Arbutus! Our home was completed in a timely manner and the entire Arbutus team was professional, attentive to detail and a delight to work with! I loved that we were able to truly customize the finishes in our home and work with their interior designer to personalize our single family home to our taste! We also love the neighborhood and being surrounded by all of these beautiful craftsman style homes! Arbutus has done a great job of setting this neighborhood apart from all of the other new areas in Saskatoon! It can be hard to find a new home with character, but I think that’s what Arbutus does best!
Arbutus has developed an unbelievable community in the Meadows. My wife and I could not be happier with our house and the entire Arbutus staff. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their builds and the quality shows, they allowed us to select our own custom finishes to make it our dream home. I feel that they are at the head of the pack in terms of home developers. I would highly recommend Arbutus to anyone who is looking for an amazing house in a great area!

Just I heard at Bible study about how you treated one of Saskatoon’s finest. I have been following along with his life journey for years and he is one of the most kind and reasonable people you have ever met. He is also connected to tens of thousands of people through his work and you’d better know that the word has gotten out, just by people who follow along with his life and are rooting for him, about how you threaten your clients with legal action for writing a legitimate bad review. I was asking him about whether he had built a house, he goes to my church, and hearing how the journey ended, you should be ashamed of yourselves for bullying your clients like that. No one should ever deal with a company that treats people like this, especially when they’re looking to get into their first home. This is an exciting time of life and you should be equally excited with them! Instead, after telling him you’d sell him to build a home on and asking him to submit an application that he submitted, you never got back to him and then a year later when he wrote an honest review you sent him a cease and desist letter. And this is after you knew that he had put a bunch of money into an RRSP and setup a mortgage. Just so you know, the word has been spreading like wildfire in the community, just by those who had been following his journey. Saskatoon is small, we know lots of people, lots of people follow along with his life. He goes to the biggest church in the city that’s in your area and we had all been rooting for him to build a home in this neighbourhood near the church and you ruined that not just for him but for our entire community. We had been praying for him for years to build his dream home in this area and you have completely destroyed that dream and I am so disgusted by your actions against an innocent person who just wanted to move into their first new home. Heartbreaking.
