The Wool Emporium has a great assortment of local fibers, high quality and boutique yarns, Canadian classic yarns, and even budget yarns for just about any project you could have in mind. The staff are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. If you have questions or concerns or are just looking for a bit of guidance on your knitting project, bring it in to one of their knitting drop in times, get some help, and then stay and have a chat and make new friends. The community of knitters that attend The Wool Emporium's events and classes, and the staff that run them, are what make this place so great.

one of two amazing yarn stores in town, this place deserves your time! Whether you want to knit or buy something someone else knitted, or felt or spin, check this lovely shop out. she brings in fleeces from local producers for alpaca, sheep, and sometimes even buffalo! You can also buy local dyed and spun yarns, or roving for your own spinning and felting use. You can even special order dyed roving from local crafters through this store. Ask about their knitting circles! Cookies, coffee, chit chat and needles.

Very poor selection. Didn't have what was stated on website. Staff poor knowledge on wool and knitting. Was useless. I didn't make any purchases as they didn't not what I needed.
